AIDA – Accelerate the Integration of Digitalisation Acceptation

The AIDA project performs fundamental and applied research towards predictive capabilities and the integration of digital technologies at the various levels of individual processes, site level and a study to different market-sectors.

The industry is looking for energy usage reduction methods that ask for low investments, substantial energy usage reduction and short payback times. These are also the promises of digitalization at process and site level. Data gathering and analytics provide new predictive possibilities in addition to monitoring without the need for investment in new unit operations. Usage of technologies like Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Process Analytics show between 5 and 30 percent energy reduction and payback times between 0.5 and 2 years.

Use-case library

Within the project we also provide a library of proven new technologies that can support industry.

The aim here is to provide relevant implementation information and the potential benefits of a technology solution in an industrial setting. Please visit our Knowledge Base for all use cases.

The AIDA project researches how the Artificial Energy Intelligence solution (AEI) of EnergQ can be extended with dynamic (transient) process information to improve its the performance in case of non-steady state operations which ultimately will lead to better decision-making.

In addition, it studies the possibilities for integrating the data flows of instrumentation using mobile platforms. By understanding the requirements of data flow and data sharing we aim to integrate information from various instruments (and later, also from databases) and make it available on site for quick decision-making.
