We need to make better electrolysers in better ways to ensure that green hydrogen becomes a serious player in the field of sustainable energy. This means research into innovations and technical developments to reduce costs and increase scale. But it is not just a question of improving the technology. It is also important to put technological developments into context. In other words, we need to assess the requirements for the application of the innovations.
On the 17th of April we broadcasted our second and final HyScaling webinar. This time we explored the economic and public aspects of green hydrogen production. Five partners of the HyScaling consortium discussed the various green hydrogen application studies they have conducted as part of the project. We invited Evelien Pingen (Operations Engineer at HyCC), Melanie Klösters (Behavioural researcher energy transition at TNO), Roel Reinders (Regional Manager at Perfact Group), Esben Sørensen (Sr. Director, Global Market Development at Plug Power) and Arend de Groot (Sr. Consultant at TNO). Carol Xiao, Director Business Development at ISPT, hosted the webinar.
You can watch the subtitled webinar below. The webinar is in Dutch, and is subtitled in English.
