January 1st 2023 is the official start date of the National Growth Fund program Circular Plastics NL. Behind the scenes we are already making preparations to get started soon. The National Growth Fund program Circular Plastics NL is an 8-year program with a total budget of over € 500 million in which companies, knowledge institutions and government work together. Next week, on September 15th, CPI’s Ronald Korstanje will fill us in on the latest developments and status of the program during the Kunststoffenbeurs at Brabanthallen ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
Circular Plastics NL
The National Growth Fund program Circular Plastics NL will start soon. Circular Plastics NL is an initiative created in close cooperation with the Circular Plastics Initiative (CPI), among others. The 8-year program will launch on January 1st 2023, and has a total budget of € 500 million. Together with other companies, knowledge institutions and government bodies we will work together towards the 2030 goal to recycle 50% of all plastics. Circular Plastics NL fights climate change, reduces the use of fossil raw materials and decreases environmental pollution. In addition, the sustainable earning power of the Netherlands and the plastic & rubber chains is strengthened.
Current status of the program
During the Kunststoffenbeurs on September 14th and 15th, the developments around the National Growth Fund are central to the program. This includes a pitch by Esther Zondervan on September 14th and on September 15th a pitch by Jacqueline Vaessen.
On September 15th and 15.00 CPI’s Ronald Korstanje will give a talk about the national growth fund Circular Plastics NL. In this presentation, he will explain the goals, design and planning of the program and find out how you can participate in the program.
Besides, the CPI team will be present with a floorstand to answer any further questions about the Circular Plasitcs Initiative, Circular Plastics NL and how to participate.
