Hi. My name is:

Tasneem Alazab

Junior Office Manager

The story of Tasneem isn’t just about a job or a degree, it’s about a journey across countries, cultures, and challenges. “Getting the chance to work at ISPT wasn’t just a job offer, it was a turning point.”

As Junior Office Manager, Tasneem supports the ISPT team with daily operations and coordination. Whether it’s organising meetings, supporting programmes, or welcoming guests, she brings structure, curiosity, and positive energy to everything she does.

Born and raised in Yemen, Tasneem left her home country after high school in search of a better future and access to education. She received a scholarship to study Political Science and International Relations at Istanbul University in Turkey.

After graduating, she moved to Hungary and later to the Netherlands. “Every move came with its own challenges: adapting, learning new languages, rebuilding – but also discovering new opportunities to grow.” When she first arrived in the Netherlands, even the most basic things felt complicated. “That’s something many people don’t see. Coming from Yemen, where the focus is on surviving and meeting basic needs, makes even small steps here feel big.”

Where there’s a will, there’s a way.

That’s why joining ISPT marked more than the start of a new job: “It was the real beginning of my professional life in the Netherlands.”

For Tasneem, ISPT stands for values she deeply believes in: sustainability, innovation, and collaboration. “In a place like Yemen, sustainability can feel like a distant dream. That’s why I find it so important. I want to learn how systems work here and one day help rebuild my country with that knowledge. My dream is to contribute to a future where sustainability is not a luxury, but a right for everyone.”

Alongside her studies and work, Tasneem has always been active in volunteering. She has supported youth and community initiatives in Yemen, Turkey, and the Netherlands, including event organisation and translation work. “Volunteering has taught me the power of teamwork and how much can be achieved when people come together.”

Recently, Tasneem has started learning the basics of web development and data analysis. “I believe technology can create more inclusive solutions. I’m excited to combine my background in international relations with tech and sustainability, to grow in my career and give back to the community.”
