Hi. My name is:

Tanja Lintmeijer

Governance Officer

As Governance Officer, Tanja Lintmeijer ensures that ISPT operates transparently, correctly, and efficiently. With her background in economic business law, extensive experience as a Risk & Compliance Officer, and a strong drive for process improvement and AI, she translates complex issues into clear, practical agreements.

“In the hustle and bustle of daily work, noise often creeps in unnoticed. You rush from task to task without pausing to reflect on why you do what you do, or whether you’re doing it in the most effective way. As a result, things pile up, priorities become blurred, and you lose sight of the bigger picture. That drains energy — and affects your results.”
Tanja’s strength lies in creating structure and clarity. “It gives me great satisfaction to provide colleagues with peace of mind and a clear overview. So they can focus their energy on the core tasks where their strengths lie.”

At ISPT, Tanja ensures compliance with internal and external regulations, optimises (decision-making) processes, and handles legal matters. “I like that combination, because legal issues — such as contracts, liability, and privacy legislation — often have a direct impact on governance. This way, everything flows seamlessly together.”

“Believe nothing. No matter where you read it, or who has said it, not even if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.” – Buddha (Tanja's favorite quote)

Tanja values integrity a lot. “People should dare to be critical. Of themselves, their environment, and also of me. If something doesn’t feel right, give that feeling space. Asking questions and not following blindly will always bring you one step closer to improvement.”

Why ISPT? “At first, I was drawn to the role itself. It truly is my dream job. Being able to do this at an organization with such societal relevance is a big plus.”
For Tanja, sustainability is a natural choice: “If you can do something good, why wouldn’t you?” With that in mind, her family volunteers, including at a dog shelter.

In her free time, Tanja seeks adventure — whether it’s a long-distance hike, a climbing course, or working abroad for a few months. “There’s always something new to discover.”
