Over 350 people applied for a spot on the TEDxBinnenhof stage with the theme “Global Challenges 11 Dutch Solutions”. Several country-wide auditions resulted into the final 11 speakers. The audition-rounds were open to anyone with a smart solution to a global challenge. Director Jeoffrey van den Berg from ISPT participant Spinid talked about his vision of changing the chemical industry in his talk entitled: How to control explosive enthusiasm?

Being a modern high-tech entrepreneur, Jeoffrey has a vision of changing the chemical industry. In his view, big factories are a thing of the past; the future belongs to smaller plants. Materials, ingredients and additives should be made on the spot, where and as they are needed. He believes that, with his spinning disc technology, he has made a big step forward in realising this scenario.
