Maaike Kroon chosen as ‘Science-talent 2015’

Through her passion and ambition Maaike Kroon has managed to become the youngest ever female professor in the Netherlands. Her innovative research in the field of Sustainable Separation-processes in the Chemical Industry has also seen her awarded the title of ‘Science-talent 2015’ by New Scientist. Driven by an heart-felt idealism of working towards a sustainable world for the generations-to-come, Maaike Kroon has caught the interest of many. “An increasing world-population has to share a set amount of resources. If we want to sustain our level of prosperity and quality-of-life, we’ll need to also increase our efficiency.”
