CoRIAC- project starts delivering positive results: pilot installations for a new type of reactor are installed
The CoRIAC-project as part of the research program in Action Plan Process Intensification that’s been running at ISPT reached the final phase. Eleven project partners are working together at the elimination of thresholds towards the transition to continues reactors for production of fine chemicals and pharmaceutical products. After achieving positive results they begun building two pilot installations in the summer of 2013 to test the new technologies in real-life. In the beginning of 2014 the pilot installations were placed on sites of DSM Geleen and Janssen Pharmaceutica in Geel (Belgium).
