ISPT invites you to join our event on Building blocks from waste on 15 March 2022. Meet and match with residual stream owners, innovative technology suppliers and the market for new products. And support the set-up of a joint development program to accelerate the developments and solve both technical and non-technical hurdles.
The event is to be held on the 15th of March from 10:00 – 17:30 at De Soester Duinen, the Netherlands.
Matching under-utilized residual streams with suitable conversion technologies
There are many different technologies under development for the conversion of complex residual streams into energy carriers and/or smaller building blocks. Yet, how these technologies fit with the characteristics of each of the complex residual streams is often unknown.
On 1 December 2021 ISPT organized a matchmaking event bringing together residual stream owners and technology suppliers. Firstly, participants of this event indicated that low economic feasibility and lack of market for the products are the main reason for the low valorisation potential. Also, the need for a continuous high volume and the fluctuating waste prices are seen as hurdles.
ISPT aims to set up joint development programmes. It invites all relevant stakeholders to accelerate the developments and solve both technical and non-technical hurdles. This includes the owners of the residual streams, the innovative technologies, the market for products from waste stream conversion ánd the experts in possible feedstock-process combinations from physical and thermodynamic perspectives.
