The Top Sector Energy (digitization network and the TKI Energie & Industrie) together with ISPT invites you as an industrial end user to join the NET-ZERO inspiration workshop.
The Dutch industry is committed to being climate neutral by 2050. Electrification and decarbonization are important long-term industrial goals to achieve this mission. The energy transition challenges run in parallel to trends such as shortages on the labour market that necessitate working more efficiently, the digital transition and robotization, a desire for autonomy regarding our energy needs and the reduction in our gas consumption. We want to introduce electrification hand in hand with efficiency: hence a focus on “electrificiency”.
Various roadmaps and innovation programs (MMIPs, roadmap electrification, hydrogen program, AINED) have been written about these ambitions and possible transition paths which can inspire a roadmap for individual industries. The subsidy possibilities for these topics in 2023 are impressive and can accelerate implementation and knowledge generation. However they must be filled with targeted effective (digital) innovation-activities that we need as industry. This is the moment to define implementation routes and apply the digital technologies for our quest; to start research, form consortia and define activities for the short-term goals, and inspire each other to take action. For example, how can we use digitization technologies to plan the right energy mix, monitoring and control at different levels and thereby reduce costs and improve autonomy?
