Circular Plastics Conference '23

Circular Plastics Conference ’24

Every year the Circular Plastics Conference (CPC) facilitates keynotes, discussions and sessions in order to boost circularity in plastics on an industrial scale. We address the entire value chain from an international perspective and focus on the technological, logistic, and societal challenges lying ahead

The burning question remains: how to continue this road to circular plastics? What are the major challenges facing the Netherlands as it seeks to recycle at least half of plastic waste by 2030 and achieve 100% circularity by 2050, and how is the government working to overcome these challenges?

On September 26th, 2024 (for the 4th time) 100+ experts, pioneering thinkers, stakeholders and academics from the field of circular plastics came together at the Jaarbeurs MeetUp in Utrecht for the Circular Plastics Conference ’24 to formulate the next steps in closing the loop before 2050.

Special to this edition was the collaboration with TI COAST, the Top Institute for Comprehensive Analytical Science and Technology. This partnership enhances our focus on innovation in the analysis and characterization of recyclates.

We look back on a fantastic conference day and we hope to welcome you in 2025 for the next Circular Plastics Conference.

About the Circular Plastics Initiative (CPI)

The annual Circular Plastics Conference is powered by the Circular Plastics Initiative (CPI), which is a collaboration between Dutch Polymer Institute (DPI) and the Institute for Sustainable Process Technology (ISPT).

The CPI addresses the entire value chain from an international perspective and focus on technological, logistic, and societal challenges lying ahead. In order to reach our goal, we work close with many more organizations throughout the plastic value chain.

We are open for more participants. Would you like to join or receive more information?
