Maarten den Dekker has been a Director and Chief Sustainability Officer at North Sea Port since June 1, 2023. He has worked at the port authority since 2017 and is now ultimately responsible for sustainability and commercial affairs within the executive board. Maarten has also served as director of Smart Delta Resources Nederland since 2022; this is the organization through which energy- and resource-intensive companies in the Flemish-Dutch Scheldt Delta region have joined forces. He is ultimately responsible for this partnership between industry, government, and the port in the Scheldt Delta region of the Netherlands.
