Program manager Circular Plastics Initiative at ISPT
Before joining the Institute for Sustainable Process Technology (ISPT), Geoffrey held several positions in consultancy, chemical associations and industry. A common denominator in his career is project/ program management for industry (related) organizations in an sustainability/ innovations context.
At ISPT, Geoffrey managed the Circular Carbon innovation program until 2022. From early 2023 onwards he acts as a program manager for the Circular Plastics Initiative (CPI). In addition, he leads ISPT’s Industry’s Drawing Room, a community with representatives from industry, grid operators and government that actively facilitates strategic planning of industrial transitions.
Besides his professional career, he puts his knowledge and network to use in several voluntary roles, such as the Advisory Board Energy Transition of the Rabobank. In the remaining spare time he likes cycling on his racing bike.
The theme of this year’s Circular Plastics Conference is Reflect & Act. This aligns perfectly with one of Geoffrey’s favorite quotes:
