Tjeerd Jongsma is the corporate director of the Institute for Sustainable Process Technology (ISPT). After studying Chemistry and earning a PhD at Shell, he worked as an agro-technological researcher at Wageningen University. In 1996, he became director of food and food processing there. From 1999 onwards, he held positions of director of corporate technology and director of corporate research at FrieslandCampina. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
His passion and vision for addressing the societal challenge of the energy and resource transition eventually led him to ISPT, where he joined as corporate director in 2010. He is driven by his mission to connect people and initiatives and by his belief that through collaboration and innovation, we can succeed in making the world a better place, with the Netherlands as a frontrunner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
