Working on capacity building of our partners and community

The objective of the Innovation academy is to work on capacity building of our partners and community. We do this by providing training, education, Serious Games and learning communities.

At ISPT we believe we can only reach a circular and carbon neutral industry in 2050 together. We need to work together, innovate together ánd grow together in knowledge and experience. Which knowledge and capacities are needed to reach the climate goals? And how do we involve industry, government, knowledge institutions and civil society in innovation? ISPT’s Innovation Academy provides all stakeholders with the required capacities needed for innovation in various ways: training, education, serious games and learning communities.

Learning communities

The Innovation Academy initiates learning communities in which companies, education and research institutions combine their knowledge, experience and insights for learning, working, innovation and research. Learning communities are a great booster for innovation since they create the opportunity to develop, incorporate and apply new techniques and insights in practice. The Innovation Academy stimulates the use of learning communities to disseminate the knowledge and skills from ISPT’s projects. This is a form of interactive learning in which professionals learn by sharing experiences and reflections on innovation results, enabling the translation of results to the process technology practice.

Serious Games

An important role in the innovation process is to start a dialogue on chances and barriers for innovations and to learn from experiences and project results (dissemination). An effective and fun way for these are serious games: non-digital and digital board games that can be used as kick-starter for discussions, energizer during a session or interactive exercise. ISPT’s Innovation Academy offers several serious games.

Let’s play a game! Please check this page for our serious games and possibilities to organize a game session.

Skills lab

ISPT is involved in skills labs where companies and educational institutions cooperate and apply new forms of education. In skills labs students and employees work on new skills and knowledge. Students as well as employees increase their value to the workforce and become familiar with the latest technologies.
